Does anyone know or have a video on how to work the timer on a 18 foot flowclear pump

I got the 40V model on clearance for $70, along with the tiller attachment for $30. The tiller is all I've used it for, but it's done a decent job. Really damn heavy, though.

Can we skip all the stupid stuff like the safety stuff everyone knows

I'm having a problem with mine, exact same mower, where it seems my engagement pulley for the blades isn't moving far enough to tension the belt I'm taking the deck off in hopes of finding a problem, thanks for the video!

I can not for the life of me get the spool head from lock to arrow. 40 yr old healthy male and impossible to get open

I finally figured it out. The line is pushed straight through the inside of the head, not at an angle! In other words the line is pushed to go right through the center of the spool, not, as I was attempting without success, at an angle to curve around the outer edge of the spool!!!

It is aggravating to line up the tip of the string correctly into the black inside of this unit since the string is already coiled so tight from being in the coiled packaging!!!

Ugh its not working , the whole thing just spins not the part that winds it up and no arrows , ive tried both directions and about to give up and just pay some people. I hate yard stuff with passion

Never had the patience to attempt to reload the string on two other weed trimmers, so I bought a third; a Skil 40V trimmer. It was loaded with wire reinforced trim string. I thought this would stop the premature breakage of trim line. Well, I was wrong. So after a little over an hour of taking the trim head apart, and trying to re-wind the string as my logic dictated, I was ready to purchase yet another trimmer. Fortunately, I remembered the tutorials posted on youtube,, and thought, "what if there is one for this trimmer." I after a few minutes of searching, I found your simple, straightforward explanation. I immediately went out to my garage with much trepidation, and did as you demonstrated. Within 10 minutes I was outside completing my trimming task. Thanks to you I most likely will not be purchasing a fourth weed trimmer this year...you are the man!

Can you give me instructions on setting the timer please?

My powerload button spins the trimmer head, but the line doesn't get sucked up into the head. Seems like it is not "catching" within the assembly. Can't get it to load manually either.

HELP!!!!!!!! The metal thing you twisted off is worn out and won’t screw back on, I went to home depot and Lowe’s to find a replacement but their is no replacement metal thing

I have a different type of head. It's a Hart 40v 4Ah. I have string stuck under the head. I've pulled the stringer off and I'm left with the shroud but I'm stuck as to what to do next. Help!

What string are you using ? Every pack i buy its still too thick. The holes are super tiny. I’ve been to home depot twice 😫

Or in place of wood an attached vise grip to the edge of the housing will stop the rotation of the blade. All blades rotate counterclockwise, so be sure the leading edge is the cutting edge so the blade won’t be upside down.

I wish this worked for me. Mine is hopelessly stuck.

It’s easier if you pull the cap off and run it through that way. You can find two tabs on the black cap and it pop right off. Run your line through and then feed it through the inside of the cap. Snap it back on and wind the red ring so you don’t wrap your foot up in the excess line.

Did you notice that it changed the flow of your pool pump

When I tired to reload mine both parts spin . Like I can't line up the holes because no matter ehat I do both sides spin with each other .
